Stockholm wasn't supposed to change me. Then I stepped off a plane into a dark Sunday evening, went for a walk, and without realizing it, began a journey that would keep unfolding.
I'm an American expat living and working in Stockholm. Crazy Sweden is where I capture the experience — the culture, the food, the people, and the small daily details that make this country tick.
It's not hyperbole to say that living abroad has fundamentally changed me. I've met some of the most interesting people here, adapted to a culture that prizes calm over noise, and seen places that don't leave you.
Why this site exists
I didn't start writing to be a travel guide. I just wanted to share what Sweden actually feels like from the inside, one honest post at a time.
